A single opt-in is a one-step process and only requires a person to enter their email address one time in the signup box on a website. No confirmation is required, and they immediately become a subscriber.

Want to become a prospecting superstar? LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a fantastic resource. It simplifies the process of finding, contacting, and staying up-to-date with prospects, referrals, and customers.

Rather than spending hours manually tracking prospect activity on the platform, you can get instant insights.

For example, if I wanted to prospect all doctors within a 50 mile radius of my office, Sales Navigator will gather all LinkedIn profiles that match the parameters you’ve selected and then scrape those profiles capturing their contact information including their email address.

We provide a tutorial to show you how to do it yourself, or we can do it for you at a very reasonable price and just email your list on an Excel spreadsheet.

As an example, I just used Sales Navigator to build a list of financial advisors for my salespeople to use in generating sales for The Masters Class System.

My parameters were financial advisors at the largest 25 broker dealers all across the United States and Canada. In no time at all we had assembled a list of over 100,000 financial advisors along with email addresses for a fraction of what it would cost to purchase a list.

Since we’re using a double opt-in system, there are two ways to get clients and prospects signed up as quickly as possible. I’ll address both below, and even tell you my preference.

To illustrate, let’s say your client is a CPA and owns an accounting practice.

Option 1
Send your client an email letting them know you’ve purchased a gift for them. Explain that you’ve pre-paid for a subscription to a biweekly publication designed to help accountants grow their practice dramatically. You can include additional comments about how this content has already been helping you grow your own business, and as a result, you decided to purchase a subscription for them as well.

In the email, include a link that takes them to the landing page where they simply enter their name and email address and click send. Then inform them they will receive a confirmation email. All they need to do is simply open that email and click the button confirming their email address. That’s it.

You’ll find this email in the Masters Class Marketing Plan. It’s called “My Gift To You Email.”

Option 2
This shortcuts the process and is done on the telephone. I like this approach best because you only have to do it once and it’s instant…right while you’re on the phone. Before you call your client or prospect, make sure you have your opt-in landing page already open on your desktop.

Call the client or prospect and get them on the phone. Tell them about the gift you’ve already purchased for them, but you didn’t know which email address to use in order to send it. While you’re on the phone, enter their name and the email address they give you into the landing page on your desktop and click SUBMIT.

Explain to them they will be receiving an email momentarily to the email address they just gave you. Let them know you’re going to stay on the phone to make sure they receive it. When they get it, have them open it and click the button to confirm their email address and they’re done. As soon as they click that button, they will start receiving each issue biweekly.

A typical issue is between 15 to 20 pages long. It’s made up of two sections. The first is the actual article itself. This includes a 1,500 to 2,000 word article, the “This Issue Courtesy Of” page, along with the “Custom Call To Action” page at the end of the article.
